Edward C. Ellsasser
President
After earning his Bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1990 Mr. Ellsasser has been involved in sales and sales management. He began his insurance career in the employee leasing industry in 1997 with PrimeSource Management Solutions, an affiliate of PrimePay of Florida, Inc. Mr. Ellsasser specialized in offering clients’ workers’ compensation, health insurance, and 401(k) Plans. Mr. Ellsasser holds the Florida General Lines Agent License (2-20) and the Life and Health License (2-18). His background and business experience offer PrimeGroup’s clients a unique understanding and approach to their insurance needs. Ed is also very involved in the community and serves on the Board of Central Park Youth Village, a charity dedicated to meeting the needs and expanding the horizons of inner-city children in the Tampa Bay area.
Kimberly S. Birks
Senior Health Consultant
After Kimberly graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1993, she relocated to Tampa Florida. She began her career at PrimeSource Management Solutions in 1998 as the Benefits Orientation Specialist. Kimberly was promoted to PrimePay’s Corporate Trainer and specialized in Customer Service Training. She joined PrimeGroup after obtaining her Health and Life License (2-18) in 2001. Kimberly specializes in consulting employers on their employee benefits package. She works with finding them the best health insurance plan within their budget. Kimberly has a 95% renewal ratio and attributes this to her belief of providing exceptional customer service and keeping clients well informed. Kimberly is also a member of BNI.
Michael K. Dugan
Senior Insurance Agent
After graduating from Furman University in May of 2003, Mike Dugan relocated to West Palm Beach and began his insurance career with Brown & Brown. In 2005, 2006 & 2007 he was recognized as a top producer and was promoted to Sales Manager. In April of 2008, Mike accepted the position of Senior Insurance Specialist for our Palm Beach operation. Mike holds a 2-20 General Lines License and his specialty is placing insurance for the construction industry and high value commercial and residential properties. He believes that his experience in college athletics has lead to a superior drive to satisfy his clients’ business needs. Mike volunteers at JA Biztown, a division of Junior Achievement, in West Palm Beach.
Stacey Theesfield
Senior Insurance Agent
After graduating from the University of South Florida, Stacey Theesfield began her career with PrimeGroup Insurance. After five years, she is now a Senior Insurance Consultant and holds a 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuities License as well as a 2-20 General Lines License. Stacey takes pride in knowing that she has helped her clients find the best coverage at the right price that suits their needs and expectations.
Joanna M. Piccarreto
Insurance Agent
Originally from Upstate New York, Joanna Piccarreto relocated to Tampa, Florida to pursue her college education. Joanna graduated from the University of South Florida, College of Business with a degree in Marketing. She is involved with multiple U.S.F. networking organizations and volunteers for philanthropies such as Service for Sight. Joanna holds a 2-20 General Lines Insurance License and specializes in employee benefits and commercial property & casualty insurance. Joanna joined PrimeGroup Insurance Services in 2006.
Chris Rafferty
Senior Account Manager
Chris Rafferty has been in the insurance field since 1993 when she started in the health industry. In 1999 she acquired her 220 General Agents License and joined a large commercial agency. Chris has experience in all lines of commercial insurance including but not limited to workers’ compensation, general liability, property, inland marine, automobile and professional liability. Chris started with PrimeGroup Insurance Services fall of 2006 as Account Manager/Team Leader.
